About me
Welcome! I’m Daniel James Morrissette, the writer and creator behind Dan’s hAIbrid Country Songs. At its heart, this website is a digital front porch—a place where I can share the stories, moments, and personal reflections that shape my world.
Every track I release starts with a blank page and my own original lyrics. I'll be the first to admit that I don't sing or play guitar particularly well—I'm still right there working on my cowboy chords! Because I'm a writer at heart rather than a traditional performer, I partner with advanced AI technology to bring these words to life. It’s a creative process captured by my guiding philosophy: "My Words, Their AI." Truth be told, without AI, my music and words would still be in notebooks gathering dust on a shelf.
Instead, that partnership has allowed me to quietly build a catalog of over 100 songs grouped into full-length albums. While these stories originate from deeply personal places, they are built to be shared. Through my albums and YouTube music videos, I invite you to step inside my world, find pieces of your own story in my lyrics, and join me on this incredible independent music journey.
